USA BOOK NEWS announces winners and finalists of the National “Best Books 2007”
Awards.

John Wiley & Sons & Hundreds of Independent Titles Score Top Honors in the 4th Annual
National “Best Books” Awards
LOS ANGELES – USABookNews.com, the premiere online magazine and review website for
mainstream and independent publishing houses, announced the winners and finalists of
THE NATIONAL “BEST BOOKS” 2007 AWARDS (BBA) on November 1, 2007. Over 500
winners and finalists were announced in over 140 categories covering print, audio books &
courses, e-books and interactive CD-ROMs. Awards were presented for titles published in
2007 and late 2006.
Jeffrey Keen, President and CEO of USABookNews.com, said this year’s contest yielded an
unprecedented number of entries, which were then narrowed down to over 500 winners and
finalists.

It's been an exciting winter, with Jayel receiving USA Book News 2007 Best Books Finalist
Awards for both Dragon Queen and The Wrekening. Damselflies hit #1 on Amazon's Celtic
Mythology Bestseller List and remained in the top 100 for seven weeks. Winter is also 'stay at
home' time for Jayel, and in 2007 that meant National Novel Writing Month and Oregon
conventions and conferences. For those who couldn't attend Jayel's appearances, photos
have been posted in Jayel's Journal.
